Findlay Curtis is eager to showcase his talents at Rangers again after a momentous six months.

The winger featured 21 times for the Ibrox side in the first half of last season, with the majority of those appearances coming from the bench.

The 19-year-old has since gone on to make a major impression, earning a Scotland call-up and scoring his first international goal in a 4-1 win over Curacao before featuring twice off the bench at the World Cup.

Curtis, who netted in a pre-season draw with Kaiser Chiefs on Sunday, told Rangers TV: “It’s been unbelievable.

“And then that leads to being in the World Cup squad, which is obviously every kid’s dream. And I’m just delighted to be back here.

“I think it was the best thing for me. If you go and do really well, it’ll stand you in good stead. But even if you do really badly, you get learning experiences to go out and show what you’re about.

“But I’ve done really well and scored really good goals, and it’s put me in good stead for this season. I can’t wait to get going.

“It was quite emotional leaving but I’m really happy to be back at Rangers now. I want to showcase my talent here and obviously in Europe on the bigger stage.”

Curtis is still struggling to process his rapid rise to the World Cup.

“I don’t think it would be possible to say,” he said of the experience. “You just need to live in the moment. It was some experience going over there to America.

“Coming on against Haiti and Brazil, you just can’t believe it, all your family watching on, all your friends watching from home.

“So I was absolutely delighted to come on, and shame results didn’t go our way, but we’ll be back, definitely.”
