Rodrigo Moreno is so far comfortably enjoying his best season in a Leeds United shirt to date. The Spaniard has already eclipsed his goal tally from each of the last two campaigns just 13 matches into the season.
The 31-year-old has found the back of the net on nine occasions in the Premier League, more than the seven and six he has managed respectively in each of the last two years. Rodrigo's tally places him among the division's most prolific marksman this term, with only Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Ivan Toney ahead of him in the goalscoring charts.
It is the first time really in a Leeds shirt that Rodrigo has been allowed a run of matches in his most natural position as a number nine. But it is not only in front of goal that Rodrigo is excelling this season, with a statistic posted by the official Premier League Twitter account showing he is also among the league's best for sprints.

Rodrigo has made 264 sprints so far, with only Miguel Almiron, Marcus Tavernier and Gabriel Martinelli ahead of him. The Leeds striker has also played considerably less minutes than the three above him in the list, too, with 893.
In comparison, the aforementioned trio are all around the 1,200-minute mark. Rodrigo has never really been known for his pressing abilities during his time at Elland Road but it is clear that he is putting in the hard yards at the front end of the pitch for Jesse Marsch's side.
