Restaurant's 'sexist' dress code slammed after asking women to wear 'bodycon dresses'

A new restaurant has received backlash after revealing a dress code that asks women to wear "sexy black ankle-strap heels with a form-fitting top" or "bodycon dresses".

Beluga Bar, in Leatherhead, Surrey, is due to open this week and serves Japanese food as well as £45 caviar and £15 crab salads.

One Facebook post on their page from last week reads: "IT’S OFFICIAL NOW!!! BELUGA IS OPENING FOR BOOKINGS FROM 11/02/22, CALL US ON THE NUMBER BELOW TO RESERVE YOUR TABLE. (T&C’s APPLY)"
