Restaurant Bar and Grill in Leeds to be 'transformed' in huge £2million upgrade

Popular Restaurant Bar and Grill in Leeds city centre will undergo a huge makeover this summer.

The hotspot in City Square, which has become renowned for being a five-star impressive eatery over the years, is set to become "bigger and better" very soon. £2million is being spent on the project which will see the venue "completely transformed".

Inside, visitors can expect a grand new entrance begins the journey, whilst impressive marble floors, deep walnut panelling, olive green leather banquettes, and a feature bar area are just some of the upgrades set to transform this newly open-plan interior.

Inspired by the grandeur of internationally renowned spaces such as New York’s Grand Central Station, the relaunch restaurant will provide an ever-more impressive setting to enjoy brunch, lunch and dinner, as well as being the perfect space to host private events. Amazing steaks, innovative cocktails, and flawless service set the perfect tone for all occasions.

Customers and cocktail lovers can indulge in masterclasses and learn from the best mixologists and have fun in the grandeur of the new bar area. Anyone who has been to Restaurant Bar and Grill knows they are serious about their steaks.

The restaurant has been popular for years (PR)

A Southbend Steakhouse Grill - which is tantamount to perfect steak grilling, with unparalleled evenness of cooking every time - is being installed as part of the renovation. Beyond steaks, the relaunch is about classic and seasonally inspired British cooking. A ‘Chef’s Table’, is also launching for an ultimate dining experience.

Andrew Garton, CEO at Restaurant Bar & Grill: "Restaurant Bar & Grill has long been a Leeds institution. But this renovation takes us up another level! We’re so excited for customers new and old to come in and experience the jaw-dropping transformation the venue’s undergone, and to carry on serving our stalwart Leeds clientele as we always have - but with an even bigger, and better, luxurious offering!"
