A popular seaside resort could introduce a new pricing policy in an attempt to make more revenue out of its most popular events.
According to proposed plans, Blackpool Council owned car parks would see higher fees charged in the resort and central parking areas. Town hall bosses say the proposals would mainly affect visitors who want to park as close as possible to big events such as the Blackpool Air Show.
It's said the dynamic pricing, where prices increase in response to higher demand, would also help fund many of the town’s free events, according to LancsLive.
