Resort charged Rs 15 extra on Mountain Dew, Haryana court orders Rs 10,000 compensation

A Haryana resort has landed in trouble after a customer complained that he was charged more than the printed price for a bottle of Mountain Dew during a small party.

The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Jhajjar, has now ordered Lali Resort to refund Rs 75 and pay Rs 10,000 as compensation for mental agony, harassment and litigation expenses.
