Residents urged to keep windows shut as fire in Glasgow continues

RESIDENTS are being urged to keep their windows closed as a fire continues to burn in Glasgow's East End.

We previously reported a large blaze had broken out at a recycling centre near Celtic Park and the Emirates Arena yesterday evening.

London Road remains closed onto Clyde Gateway this morning with limited access available to Nuneaton Street.

Officers continue to assist with traffic management after a fire on London Road, Glasgow. Road closures remain at London Road onto Clyde Gateway. Access to Emirates Arena is via Dalmarnock Road. Access to Nuneaton Street is limited. Keep windows and doors closed due to smoke. pic.twitter.com/fcOEka8WMm

Residents are being advised to keep their windows and doors closed due to smoke.
