Fly-tipping is leaving residents in Belfast at their wits' end as mountains of waste pile up outside their homes, a councillor has said.
SDLP Councillor Gary McKeown said people living in Stranmillis village, the Holyland and lower Lisburn Road are facing "frankly unbelievable" situations on their doorsteps as dumping escalates over the summer.
He said action needs to be taken and he has written to the council's Chief Executive and the departmental Director seeking a meeting about the developments.
