Resident Evil Requiem's unintentional Half-Life YouTuber ad was bought for only $15, but the content creator responsible will give the website "'back' for free" if Capcom wants it

Resident Evil Requiem .

The Half-Life YouTuber who registered a hidden domain found in Resident Evil Requiem says he'll give it to Capcom for free if the publisher gets in touch.

Earlier this week, Resident Evil fans noticed that one of the BSAA computers that Leon Kennedy can use as a save point in Resident Evil Requiem featured some text on the screen, among which was a webpage, newdawn-capcom.com. However, when people visited the website in real life, they found that Capcom hasn't left it in as a special easter egg. In fact, it takes you to a virtual business card for YouTube content creator Gabe Follower, who covers Valve with videos about leaks for Half-Life 3 and the likes of Counter-Strike 2.
