Resident Evil 4 and Dragon's Dogma lead's stylish new action RPG gets an October release date, steering clear of the GTA 6 rush

Stupid never dies screenshot showing five characters in a lineup.

Stupid Never Dies has had its release date confirmed, with the Dragon's Dogma and Devil May Cry veterans' new action RPG releasing on October 21, 2026.

As GamesRadar+'s resident Devil May Cry and Dragon's Dogma sicko, it's no big surprise that Stupid Never Dies, the punk rock action game developed by GPTRACK50 – a new studio founded by Capcom veteran Hiroyuki Kobayashi, who served as a producer on Resident Evil 4, Dragon's Dogma, Devil May Cry, and more – is right up there in terms of the games I'm most looking forward to this year. Especially when there's a nice helping of Suda 51 inspiration in there.

Dog gives you the guilty look? Here's what research says it actually means
Walk into a room where something has gone wrong and your dog is already doing it: head low, ears back, eyes wide and soft, maybe a slow tail wag aimed at the floor. Every owner reads this the same way. The dog knows. Except the research says that is probably…
