Two tugboats needed to rescue 98 metre cargo ship stuck in the River Clyde

A LARGE cargo ship sailing on the River Clyde ran aground this morning prompting a coastguard recovery mission.

At around 10:18am The Greenock Coastguard Team received multiple reports of a boat which had become stuck near the Erskine Bridge Hotel.
