Reporter gets ‘revenge’ after crab pinches her live on air

A reporter said she got "revenge" on a crab after being pinched live on air.

Taylor Haynes, a weather presenter for the Today show in Australia, was speaking to a Sydney Fish Market in Glebe when the crustacean grabbed onto her finger tightly after she pretended to kiss it.

Appearing back on air on Monday (6 April), the reporter told co-hosts Lizzie Pearl and Michael Atkinson that she had her "revenge."

With a plate of crab legs in front of her, Ms Haynes said: "We are being reunited under very different circumstances this morning... it had a great crack at me the other day, so I thought I’d have the last fight.”

The incident divided viewers, with some supportive of Haynes and wishing her a speedy recovery, while others were critical of the “revenge” moment.
