With the playoffs looming down the final stretch of the regular season, the Golden State Warriors will reportedly bring in an NBA veteran for a workout.
According to Shams Charania and Anthony Slater of The Athletic, the Warriors are slated to work out 10-year NBA veteran Tyreke Evans this week. The league recently reinstated the free-agent wing after being suspended since 2019.

The 32-year-old received a two-year ban from the NBA after testing positive for violating the league’s anti-drug program. After being reinstated, Evans is able to meet and work out with teams before signing as a free agent.
Before Bob Myers joined the Warriors front office, the former NBA agent represented Evans as a client. During the Warriors’ win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday, Evans sat next to Myers, Mike Dunleavy and Ryan Atkinson, per Slater.

Over his career, the former Rookie of the Year has averaged 15.7 points per game on 44% shooting from the field with 4.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds per contest. Evans has played with the Sacramento Kings, New Orleans Pelicans, Memphis Grizzlies and the Pacers.
Along with visiting the Warriors in the Bay Area, Evans has also reportedly worked out for the Milwaukee Bucks.
