The drama never seems to slow down for the Golden State Warriors. On the same day Draymond Green traded tweets with Jordan Poole’s father, more chatter has begun to swirl around the formr Defensive Player of The Year and one of his young teammates.
In an interview on San Francisco’s 95.7 The Game, Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area revealed Green and soon to be third-year forward Jonathan Kuminga don’t seem to have a relationship. According to a Poole, it’s a “problem” that can only be fixed by Green.

"[Draymond Green & Jonathan Kuminga's non-relationship] is a problem and it can only be fixed by Draymond. The new contract implies the Warriors believe he can fix it, but around the league there are a lot of people saying 'I don't know.'"

With Green inking a new contract in Golden State, the Warriors will likely need Green and Kuminga to mend their relationship to make another run deep into the postseason. With Kuminga entering a pivotal third season for the Warriors, Green’s already decorated frontcourt resume should be something the G League Ignite product should be able to soak up.
Multiple reports and different interviews have indicated the fallout from Green’s preseason punch to Poole loomed over the Warriors throughout the 2022-23 campaign.
Now, heading into the 2023-24 season, all eyes will be on Green and Kuminga during training camp, the preseason and the early parts of the upcoming season.
