The Minnesota Vikings are in need of a running back and they might have found their next starter.
According to KPRC2 Houston’s Aaron Wilson, the Vikings have had constructive dialogue with former Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones.
The Vikings are in desperate need of a running back and Jones fits the bill. He was released earlier on Monday after the Packers agreed to terms with Josh Jacobs. Despite his age, he still finished highly in multiple metrics.
PFF's No. 7 graded runner, 6th in yards after contact per carry. Packers paying a lot of money to swap in a running back who I'm not sure is better than the guy he is replacing. https://t.co/RfU3tloaMn

It’s important to note that talks are just beginning. However, Jones would provide a legitimate starting running back in the backfield for whoever starts at quarterback next year.
