Last Thursday, defensive end Travon Walker became the first of five former Georgia football players to be selected in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft. The Jacksonville Jaguars used their pick on Walker, making the former Bulldog the No. 1 overall selection in the draft.
Almost a week later, ESPN’s Field Yates has reported that the value of Walker’s rookie contract will be worth over $37.3 million, all of which is fully guaranteed.
Per Yates, Walker’s signing bonus will be worth over $24.3 million and include a fifth-year option.
The value for Jaguars DE Travon Walker’s contract has now been officially set: he’ll sign a 4-year, $37,372,621 fully-guaranteed deal that includes a $24,360,088 signing bonus and a 5th-year team option.

Devonte Wyatt inks NFL contract:
Georgia defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt was the 28th overall selection by the Green Bay Packers in last week’s 2022 NFL draft.
On Thursday, details of Wyatt’s contract emerged in a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Per Rapoport, Wyatt and the Packers have agreed to a four-year, fully-guaranteed $12.86 million deal with a $6.533 million signing bonus.
