The Tennessee Titans are hiring a second assistant general manager to work with current assistant general manager, Chad Brinker.
According to MMQB’s Albert Breer, the Titans are hiring former Atlanta Falcons college scouting director Anthony Robinson to the position. He’ll work on scouting, while Brinker will oversee football operations.
This isn’t the only dual assistant general manager setup in the NFL, as the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns have a similar structure.
Robinson first joined Atlanta as a scouting assistant for three seasons before moving to an area scout role. He was then elevated to director of college scouting in 2019, a position he held until going to Nashville.
The Titans are hiring Falcons college scouting director Anthony Robinson as assistant GM, per sources. He's 2nd to get that title under Ran Carthon—Robinson will oversee scouting, fellow ass't GM Chad Brinker will oversee football ops.
Similar structure to Philly and Cleveland.

Back in 2020, Robinson was among the candidates for the Falcons’ general manager role, which ultimately went to Terry Fontenot.
Before taking his initial role with the team, Robinson was a car salesman, and quite a successful one, as he was making six figures. However, he decided to give up that career in pursuit of a job in the NFL.
