Things went from bad to worse for Tennessee Titans cornerback and 2021 first-round pick, Caleb Farley, on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
Farley suffered a back injury in the second half of the 17-10 win over the Broncos, and it’s one that looks like it’ll cost him some time.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Farley suffered a disc injury in his back. The second-year pro is set to have more tests done to determine its severity and how long he’ll be out.
This is obviously very troubling news for Farley, who has had multiple back surgeries during his football career, and that’s on top of two torn ACLs, one of which was suffered during his rookie campaign.
#Titans CB Caleb Farley suffered a disc injury on Sunday, source said, and he's having more tests to determine how significant it is and how much time he'll miss. Noted expert Dr. Robert Watkins is expected to weigh in on Farley.

Farley was expected to grab a starting role before the season, but he lost out to rookie Roger McCreary. Since then, Farley has struggled in limited action and has been playing exclusively on special teams for weeks now.
