The trade rumor mill has been cold thus far for the New York Giants but ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that teams could be looking to move up to No. 7 and have spoken to the Giants about a possible trade.
The Giants have the No. 5 pick, as well, and will use that to secure a stud at offensive tackle, cornerback or edge rusher. A trade down to No. 9 or even in the top 15 gets them more draft capital, and they still get to keep a high pick in Round 1.
To be clear: Giants and Seahawks are getting calls on their respective picks. This isn't Seattle trying to move to 7 (as far as I know). Teams call each other to check parameters on any potential movement. Carry on. https://t.co/qCLHUtQcWI
