The Eagles and Cowboys are fighting for NFC East supremacy, and it appears both teams will battle for the right to sign linebacker Shaquille Leonard.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Leonard is scheduled to visit Dallas on Tuesday. If he makes it out of the facility, the expectation is that he’ll meet with Philadelphia later this week.

According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, Leonard doesn’t currently have a meeting scheduled with the Eagles, but the hope is that he’d head to Philly if he exits Dallas without a deal.
All-Pro LB Shaquille Leonard is visiting with the Cowboys and I was told the Eagles do not have a visit set up yet. The hope in Philly is if he leaves Dallas without a deal, they can land him.

A 2018 second-round pick of the Colts, Leonard won Defensive Rookie of the Year while being named a first-team All-Pro. He developed into one of the top linebackers in the NFL, earning All-Pro honors three times in his first four seasons.
Back injuries limited him to three games last year, and he has seen a sharp cut to his playing time throughout this season.
