Report: Russell Wilson Had Unexpected Meeting With NFC Team Before Steelers Visit

Russell Wilson Steelers Adam Schefter Giants NFL

Russell Wilson’s free agency is in full swing, as the veteran quarterback is set to visit the Pittsburgh Steelers before NFL free agency begins next week. However, before that takes place, Wilson had a surprise visit with a different team that could be looking for a quarterback.

Wilson was spotted at Newark Airport in New Jersey on Friday morning before his flight to Pittsburgh, and ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that it was because the quarterback had an “exploratory meeting” with the New York Giants.
