The Boston Celtics will add an NBA veteran to their G League roster as a guy who could potentially help the big team at some point in the future. It is always good to have veterans who understand how the league works around as guys to count on.
Per Jay King of The Athletic, the Celtics are bringing in 5-year veteran Denzel Valentine to sign with their G League affiliate, the Maine Celtics. Valentine has played in 24 games in the 2021-22 season split between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Utah Jazz and he averaged 2.9 points and 1.7 rebounds while shooting 40.4% from deep.
Denzel Valentine is joining the Maine Celtics, per sources. The NBA veteran, who began his career in Chicago, has played 22 games for the Cavaliers and two games for the Jazz this season.
