Michigan State football had one of the most dramatic moments of the Mel Tucker era on Sunday, when three former starters all entered the transfer portal. One of those players, cornerback Charles Brantley, has already withdrawn his name from the portal. Now, it looks like Tucker and his staff are working to keep another starter, star wideout Keon Coleman, in the mix.
According to a report from Audrey Dahlgren, a reporter for WLNS – CBS, Coleman had met with Mel Tucker in his office as recently as Monday. It looks like Coleman is still in communication with the staff and weighing his options before making any decisions, which is a good sign if the Spartans are, as they should be, trying to keep Coleman in East Lansing.
Just heard via @AudreyDahlgren that he was in Tucker's office today. If he was *gone* gone, probably wouldn't be.
