Michigan center Hunter Dickinson has entered his name into the transfer portal, per multiple reports.
Dickinson has spent the last three seasons in Ann Arbor, playing in 94 total games for Michigan, and earning the Big Ten’s Rookie of the Year award as a freshman. Over the past two years, he has averaged at least 18 points and 8.6 rebounds per game in each year, resulting in three straight second team All-Big Ten appearances and consensus second-team All-American honors in 2021.
However, after Michigan earned a No. 1 seed in Dickinson’s freshman year, the Wolverines failed to gain traction beyond that, failing to win 20 games in each of the last two seasons. Michigan was a No. 11 seed last year, although they did make the Sweet Sixteen, and didn’t make the men’s NCAA tournament this season.
According to Stadium’s Jeff Goodman, Dickinson’s next team is “wide open.”

Dickinson is entering his senior season, so he will have at least one year of eligibility left along with a potential graduate season if he chooses.
