Mexico's Héctor Herrera Signs With Houston Dynamo

Héctor Herrera Houston Mexico Dynamo Houston Dynamo Atlético Atlético Madrid

Atlético Madrid and Mexico midfielder Héctor Herrera will be joining MLS side Houston Dynamo, the club announced. The news was first reported by TUDN's Luis Omar Tapia on Tuesday.

Herrera will be out of contract at Atlético at the end of this season, which made him available on a free transfer. Tapia reported that the midfielder will sign a five-year contract and is expected to join this summer after his Atlético deal ends. Per MLSSoccer.com, Houston will make Herrera a Designated Player.
