The Los Angeles Rams were given a scare this week in practice when Leonard Floyd’s knee buckled on Wednesday, causing him to exit practice early. He was held out of action on Thursday and Friday, with Sean McVay saying he would truly be questionable to play against the Atlanta Falcons.
Buy Rams TicketsOn Sunday morning, Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network reported that Floyd “is slated to play” against Atlanta, which is great news for the Rams defense. They’ll need their best edge defender against the dangerous rushing duo of Marcus Mariota and Cordarrelle Patterson.

Floyd is the Rams’ No. 1 outside linebacker, but he struggled in Week 1 against the Bills, failing to record a single pressure or hit on Josh Allen. Justin Hollins and Terrell Lewis are the Rams’ other primary edge rushers, with Keir Thomas potentially being active as the No. 4 option.
The Rams host the Falcons today at 4:05 p.m. ET.
