Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been diagnosed with a sprained posterior cruciate ligament after suffering a knee injury in Sunday’s win over the Broncos, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. After the game, coach John Harbaugh told reporters that Jackson is “days to weeks” from returning.
PCL injuries typically sideline players for one to three weeks, according to Schefter. The timeline would be in line with Harbaugh saying the injury isn’t season ending. If Jackson were to return in three weeks, it would be for the team’s Week 16 game against the Falcons on Christmas Eve.
The star quarterback suffered the injury against in the first quarter when he was sacked by Denver linebacker Jonathon Cooper. He finished with just 11 passing yards and nine rushing yards. Baltimore would go on to win 10–9, and Tyler Huntley filled in for Jackson, finishing with 187 passing yards and two touchdowns.
