Driving fast on the highway has become a common theme for the Minnesota Vikings this offseason. After Oli Udoh was cited for speeding and reckless driving multiple times in May, rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison was reportedly cited for driving 140 mph in St. Paul by the Minnesota State Patrol.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Addison was driving a Lamborghini Urus on Interstate 94 near Dale Street going eastbound in St. Paul when a state trooper pulled him over on Thursday morning at 3 am. It is worth noting that Addison was cited for both speeding and reckless driving, but was not arrested.
The last time a Vikings wide receiver was cited for going over 100 mph was Koren Robinson back in 2006.
This isn’t a great sign for the Vikings’ first-round pick with training camp opening up this Sunday, July 23rd.
