New Orleans Saints fans can take a breath, as it seems there’s a good chance Jameis Winston will be getting snaps in tonight’s preseason game. NewOrleans.Football’s Nick Underhill reports that Winston is expected to get some snaps when the Saints will kick off against the Los Angeles Chargers Friday at 7 pm CT.
This will be the first appearance for Winston since getting injured against the Tampa Bay Bucaneers back in Week 8 of last season. Winston was on track to have one of the best seasons of his career, and will look to continue that success this season. He has had a very solid training camp, and fans will be itching to see him throw the football again in a game setting.
