The Cleveland Browns, now sitting at 2-7 on the season, are looking at selling at the NFL trade deadline, and that apparently includes Pro Bowl tight end David Njoku.
ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio has reported that not only the popular Za’Darius Smith could be traded, but for the right price the Browns could move Njoku at the deadline as well.
Here is what Florio had to say:
“One name to keep an eye on: tight end David Njoku. He could be available for the right price.”

This would be stunning.
Not only is Njoku coming off of his first Pro Bowl season, but he is the epitome of a locker room guy and the foundation of what it takes to develop the right way. Trading a player like Njoku would send a poor taste to the other veterans in the locker room.
