Odell Beckham Jr.’s free agency journey has been followed by many. He has traveled from team to team for workouts and visits and still hasn’t signed anywhere.
Many New York Giants fans are holding out hope that he returns home and helps the new regime take this team to the next level.
On Thursday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News indicated that the Giants are “still in the mix” as a potential landing spot.
In the video, Leonard says, “Hey Giants fans, guess what? (He motions to come closer) They’re still in the mix for Odell Beckham.”
OBJ started his career in New York after the Giants drafted him with the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft. He spent five seasons in blue before being traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2019.
During his tenure with the Giants, OBJ was known for his superstar ability to catch the ball no matter how well-defended he was. He was also known for his sideline dramatics and outbursts.
Still, Giants fans have clamored for him to come back home because of his ability to produce on the field. Now there is hope that he may yet return home and bring his career full circle.
