The Indianapolis Colts reportedly will work out Kentucky quarterback Will Levis on Thursday, per Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated.
While the Colts worked out Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud and Alabama’s Bryce Young on Monday in southern California, they will move forward with their evaluation of the class by working out Levis on Thursday.

The Colts have preferred to conduct private workouts with the quarterbacks after sending area scouts to the majority of the pro days. Morocco Brown was the only high-level executive to attend a pro day, which was Anthony Richardson’s.
Levis will be an intriguing prospect from a leadership, toughness and traits aspect. He can thrive within a play-action scheme with an emphasis on throws over the middle. He has the arm strength to make all the throws even if he does struggle a bit with consistency on attempts outside the numbers.
Levis’ inconsistent accuracy and decision-making will be big question marks that will need to be answered by whichever team drafts him. But he has all of the traits the Colts may want in a quarterback, and he probably would be QB1 in last year’s class.
It will be interesting to see how the draft unfolds because if the Colts stay put at No. 4 and Levis is the only quarterback left, the front office will have to make a major decision on whether they believe Levis has franchise-changing upside.
We’ll be tracking the Colts’ reported interest in the 2023 draft class so be sure to keep up with latest updates via our tracker.
