The Indianapolis Colts will be represented by area scout Mike Lacy during Ohio State’s pro day Wednesday, per Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated.
While other teams are sending higher ranking officials, it appears it will just be Lacy to watch quarterback C.J. Stroud and the several other high-end prospects the Buckeyes are sending to the draft.
Asked on the Colts and Texans. Indy will have area scout Mike Lacy there, Houston has DPP James Liipfert, national scout John Ritcher and area scout Blaise Taggert there.
Also, in addition to Carroll/Schneider, Seattle sending AGM, OC, QBs coach, DPP, DBs coach, area scout. https://t.co/IyNc4VA2uH

Meanwhile, the Carolina Panthers are sending the calvary to watch Stroud work on the field.

The Colts certainly will be keeping tabs on Stroud, who may be the favorite to go No. 1 overall to the Panthers when April 27 finally arrives. But there are other prospects to keep an eye on as well.
Wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be out of the range for the Colts, but he’s arguably the top receiver in the class. Center Luke Wypler could be on the Colts’ radar for Day 2 while offensive tackles Paris Johnson Jr. and Dawand Jones are among the top prospects at their position.
Defensive lineman Zach Harrison is a prospect who will intrigue the Colts from an athletic and versatility standout.
The Colts and the rest of the league also will have their eyes open to Marvin Harrison Jr., who is widely considered the top wide receiver prospect in the 2024 class.
We’ll see if any nuggets come out about Ohio State’s pro day and it’s potential impact on the draft, and the Colts will be represented by an area scout there.
