Former Raiders pass rusher Chandler Jones has been arrested for the second time in less than a month, according to court records obtained by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Jones was arrested Tuesday afternoon, according to court records, for violating a domestic violence temporary protection order. That is the same charge that Jones was arrested for in late September.
Jones was put on the nonfootball illness list by the Raiders before his initial arrest and was later released from the team. He is now a free agent as his legal issues continue to pile up.
Per the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Jones’s Sept. 28 arrest came after he was accused of getting naked and burning belongings that were stolen from the mother of his son. Jones’s apparent actions were in violation of a temporary protection order.
Jones posted a video on Snapchat of him burning the items. Surveillance video from the woman’s home confirmed Jones’s actions.
What sparked Tuesday’s arrest is not yet known.
