Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich is expected to be sidelined for “multiple weeks” after injuring his hamstring against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
It’s the same hamstring that forced Dulcich to miss the first five games of the 2022 season. Dulcich also sat out Denver’s final two games last year with a hamstring injury, missing seven total games in his rookie season.
Buy Broncos TicketsIf the Broncos believe Dulcich could miss four games, they might consider placing him on injured reserve with a designation to return after four weeks. That would open up a spot on the active roster while Dulcich is sidelined.
Denver’s remaining healthy tight ends are Adam Trautman, Chris Manhertz and undrafted rookie Nate Adkins. The Broncos also have Lucas Krull available on the practice squad.
Dulcich caught two passes for 22 yards against the Raiders in Week 1 before suffering the injury. Last year, the 23-year-old tight end totaled 33 receptions for 411 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games.
