Bengals QB Joe Burrow is out for the season

The Pittsburgh Steelers will not face Joe Burrow in Week 12. It was bad news for the Cincinnati Bengals when he left last night’s game with a wrist injury, and that bad news just got worse.

According to The Athletic’s Paul Dehner Jr., Burrow tore a ligament in his right wrist, an injury that will likely require surgery.

This means the Steelers’ next two opponents will not have their starting QBs, who both went down with injuries in a span of four days.

Pittsburgh will take on a Cleveland team with rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson at the helm on Sunday.

As it stands right now, rookie Jake Browning will attempt to lead the Bengals’ offense in Cincinnati on Nov. 26 against Pittsburgh. In relief of Burrow on Thursday, he went 8-for-14 with one touchdown and took three sacks.
