Report alleges that Calvin Ridley’s gambling more widespread than stated

Calvin Ridley Falcons NFL Brett Smiley

ATLANTA — Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley, who was suspended indefinitely by the NFL, bet more on Falcons games than he and the NFL revealed, according to an article at sportshandle.com written by Brett Smiley.

“This goes to the heart of the game and that’s why they threw the book at him, kind of made an example of (Ridley),” Smiley told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Friday.

The Falcons had no comment on this report.
