Michigan State will reportedly be hosting a big-time linebacker prospect in the 2025 class.
Allen Trieu of 247Sports is reporting that Michigan State football will host four-star linebacker Dante McClellan for an official visit on June 1. McClellan hails from Canton, Ohio and is considered one of the Spartans’ top targets in the 2025 class.
McClellan ranks as the No. 41 linebacker in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2025 class. He is also listed as the No. 349 overall propsect nationally and No. 13 player from Ohio.
Michigan State is one of more than 20 programs to extend McClellan an offer, according to 247Sports. Other notable competitors for his commitment are Minnesota, Missouri and Kentucky.
