In response, Hur, drawing on his experience as a prosecutor, acknowledged the significance of the audio recording and agreed that it could be compelling evidence in a trial. However, he explained that their report aimed to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the case thoroughly, anticipating potential defense arguments that could be raised at trial.
