Humble Reo Hatate insists his brilliant start to life at Celtic is down to being welcomed to the club with open arms by his team-mates and manager.
The 24-year-old bagged a stunning brace against Rangers on Wednesday, after already turning heads in his debut against Hibs before netting a rocket against Hearts.
Ange Postecoglou knows the player well from their shared time in Japan, and it's reaping rewards as the former Kawasaki Frontale star has a telling impact for Celtic in the title race.
However, Hatate is quick to share the acclaim but he's in no doubt which of his goals against Rangers is his favourite.
Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the clash with Motherwell, he said: "Of course, I'm very happy with these statistics.
"But I'm more pleased I managed to live up the expectations of both the manager and the team.
"It made me feel like I was already part of the team
"I'm happy that I scored goals in the first place but I particularly like the second goal, I like how I found the open space and ran towards it.
"As I always want to be in a place where I can pass, dribble or shoot. With the shot itself, I was able to keep my composure as well.
"That's why I like the second goal the most."
Postecoglou is convinced there is more to come from a player who is making a difference in every game he stars in.
And Hatate admits he is happy to go along with his manager's verdict ahead of a defining run of fixtures for the Premiership league leaders.
He added: "Yes, no doubt, it has been a better start than I expected.
"However, none of this would have been possible without the support from the manager, staff and team-mates.
"So I would like to express my gratitude to everyone involved in this football club.
"If the manager says so (that more is to come), I'm sure I can achieve more too.
"Either way, I will always aim to give my all in every game that I play."
Postecoglou previously revealed Hatate has lofty ambitions for his career and the player himself is aiming big in Glasgow.
And he also took time to pay a glowing tribute to the club's supporters who created a wall of noise that set-up the players to do the business on the park against their rivals from Ibrox.
He said; "The fact that I can play in such a wonderful stadium and atmosphere, is all thanks to the fans.
"So I would like to do my best to give back to the fans who give all their support to us.
"I also want to keep playing well so I can get my name and playing style to be remembered."
