
London's largest housing associations have warned that decades of underfunding has left them unable to build enough homes as demand in the capital reaches critical levels.
Without urgent action they say rising rents, an exodus of key workers, and the continued spiralling of temporary accommodation costs which are forcing some boroughs to the brink of bankruptcy are inevitable.
