Swindon-based creative agency GEL Studios has moved to its new office space in South Marston, following the renovation of a former farmhouse.
The agency, which has been based in the South West for 10 years announced plans to move to the South Marston property in February and has since welcomed clients, enquiries and members of the community. GEL studios specialise in creating websites, graphics and branding, and marketing.
Expanding its services over the past two years has seen the team grow, prompting the move to the larger office, just a few doors down from its former studio.
Having recently achieved high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability, the firm was awarded B Corp Certification. GEL Studios was therefore keen to make its new offices as sustainable as possible, using local tradespeople, environmentally friendly materials and installing efficient energy systems.
Graeme Leighfield, managing director of GEL Studios said: “Swindon has been GEL Studio’s home for 10 years this summer and being able to open this office in time for the ten-year anniversary is a milestone in itself. We are very excited to have opened our state-of-the-art studios so quickly. It really is a testament to the team of experts we turned to, to turn this project from a vision to reality.
“As our studio, team and clients grow, our commitment to do good for our local community grows too. While many businesses look to downsize or close their offices completely, we’re committed to playing an active part of Swindon’s community for years to come.”
