The start of the fine weather is expected to arrive on Wednesday, where Met Office experts anticipate a "sunny" day with temperatures of around 22 degrees.
They say Thursday will also stay sunny, with temperatures hitting around 24 degrees, as the fine spell peaks on Friday, with highs of 27 expected.
The weekend looks set to remain warm, with temperatures of 26 anticipated on Saturday and 25 on Sunday.
It comes as Britain is braced for another heatwave, which is expected to last longer than July's record breaking hot spell, which left English cities sweltering.
Highs of up to 35 degrees are expected south-of-the-border during the period.
Bookies have slashed odds on the hottest August on record as the sun is set to shine.
Leading bookmaker Coral makes it odds-on at 4-6 for temperatures to reach highs of 40c in the UK during August, with the firm offering odds of 1-2 for the month to end as the warmest August since records began.
Coral's John Hill said: "July was a record-breaking month in the UK, and our betting suggests we could be set for something similar in August.
"Not only have we cut the odds on August ending as the hottest ever in the UK, we make it odds-on for temperature to reach 40C."
But forecasters say although they expect a fine spell, they don't anticipate that any temperature records "will be broken".
Met Office chief forecaster Steve Willington said: “We could see parts of the UK entering heatwave conditions if the above-average temperatures last for three days or more.
"Many areas of the UK, especially the south will witness temperatures several degrees higher than average, but these values are likely to be well below the record-breaking temperatures we saw in mid-July."
He added: "As the high pressure builds there is very little meaningful rain in the forecast, especially in those areas in the south of England, which experienced very dry conditions last month.
"Elsewhere in the UK, such as in northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, rain-bearing weather fronts will make limited headway against the high pressure, bringing some rain to north-western parts of the UK."
Winds are expected to be mostly light in Scotland, with temperatures "above average" and becoming "warm in the north and hot in the south"
Dry and settled weather is expected to continue into next week.
