Neilston continued their incredible goal-scoring form to jump to the top of Confernce C on goal difference.
The Farmer’s Boys notched an incredible eight unanswered goals for the second match in a row, this time against Glasgow Perthshire at the Brig O’Lea Stadium.
Paul Doyle bagged an incredible four goals, with Darren Jones scoring a brace and Keiron Maxwell and Olly Smith also getting on the scoresheet.
The emphatic win sees Chris Cameron and Derek Carson’s side leap above Drumchapel at the top of the table on goal difference.
Another Renfrewshire club in unstoppable form is Andy McFadyen’s Arthurlie.
The Barrhead side smashed five past Saltcoats Victoria without reply as they stretched their incredible winning streak to a club record 20 matches.
Michael MacNeil latched on to a loose ball and sent the ball into the bottom corner from 18 yards for the opener, before Kevin McFarlane, also got himself on the scoresheet, turning home a Jordan Leyden cross from six yards.
‘Lie captain Gary Carroll was red-carded on the half-hour mark, but even going down to ten men couldn’t stop the hosts at Dunterlie Park.
Lee Roulston added the third, before Tam McGaughey grabbed the fourth with Gary Smith putting the gloss on the scoreline just before full-time.
Arthurlie are now a point clear of title rivals Shotts, while crucially still holding two games in hand over the North Lanarkshire side.
Staying in Conference A, Johnstone Burgh were seconds away from picking up a massive away victory against Whitletts Victoria until the hosts bagged a last-gasp equaliser.
The Renfrewshire side were two up at half-time thanks to strikes from Brian Connor and Cammy McNeil.
The Vics brought it back to two each with a brace of quick-fire efforts before Connor immediately put Burgh back ahead with just ten minutes remaining.
There was still one last twist in the game though, with Whitletts scoring at the death to ensure a share of the spoils.
The result leaves Burgh in seventh place, just four points behind a fourth place promotion spot.
In Conference B Renfrew slipped up in an eventful 2-2 draw with Dalry Thistle at New Western Park.
The hosts got off to the perfect start when Ciaran Diver opened the scoring from the penalty spot, after Scott Morton was blatantly brought down in the box.
Dalry turned the tide and scored twice before half-time, both of which were assisted by the fierce wind that caught the ‘Frew defence out.
With the wind behind them in the second half, Diver missed a glorious opportunity to level things when he skied his second penalty attempt over the bar.
James MacLennan did eventually get Renfrew level, with Dalry going down to ten men in the closing stages.
But even with another late penalty chance to snatch all three points, Scott Morton saw his effort saved with Dom Innes’ follow up also thwarted.
