Renfrewshire 13-year-old sleeping in tent for 100 nights and still gets his homework done on time

A 13-year-old boy will spend 100 nights sleeping outside in a tent to raise money for homeless military veterans.

Ashton Wilson is taking on the The Great Tommy Sleepout run by Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) and has now completed his seventh night outdoors his Busby home, with this being his third year sleeping under the stars.

The schoolboy is an active member of the air cadets and has had many close family members serve in the forces, and aspires to join the RAF and ultimately join the Red Arrows Display Team.
