Renfrew power restored after multiple homes left without electricity

Electricity Renfrew Bridge of Weir

Multiple homes across Renfrew were left without electricity this morning (May 12) following a power cut.

Residents in the Bridge of Weir and surrounding areas woke up without Wi-Fi and the issue was picked up by Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN) at 6.19am.

Engineers made their way onsite to find and fix the fault - it was fixed and the power restored before 7.30am.
