Renew pledges from Good Friday Agreement, says former SDLP leader Mark Durkan

Former SDLP leader Mark Durkan has said there is a need to "renew" some of the pledges made in the Good Friday Agreement.

Mr Durkan, who was part of the SDLP's negotiating team for the 1998 peace deal, said parties should "fix" the "bad practices" that have developed in Stormont's power-sharing structures.

The former Foyle representative shared his memories of the talks process and reflected on the legacy on the Good Friday Agreement as a series of events are held to mark its 25th anniversary.
