Manchester will fall silent on Sunday, November 13, as the city remembers the fallen during the annual Remembrance Sunday commemorations. There will be a parade through the city streets before a ceremony at the Cenotaph on St Peter's Square.
The Remembrance Sunday Parade will set off at 10.25am from John Dalton Street in the city centre on November 13. The Parade will then march down to the Cenotaph at St. Peter's Square.
Civic dignitaries, servicemen and women, service and ex-service organisations, faith leaders, emergency services and other uniformed organisations will be invited to pay their respects at the Cenotaph in St. Peter’s Square along with members of the public. A number of road closures will be in place across the day.
