It's been almost 30 years since HMV originally popped up on Princes Street, as the popular chain began to take over British High Streets.
On October 22 1985, locals joined some of the big name bands at the time to open the brand new store - which remained on Princes Street until 2016.
The first time around, the entertainment retailer enjoyed over 30 years of success on Princes Street and the iconic shop is set to return to the street later this year, but this time the focus is on vinyl.
