Reiss Nelson’s impact in Arsenal’s comeback win over Bournemouth stretched beyond his last-ditch winner as Ben White praised the winger’s role in the equalising goal.
It was Nelson who crossed to the far post after 70 minutes for White to score his first Gunners goal, connecting with a sweet volley that sparked the eventual victory at Emirates Stadium.
Speaking after the game, White paid tribute to Nelson’s assist and the mentality of his Arsenal teammates in claiming the vital win.
“That is football, the emotions of the game and the different ways it could have gone,” he said.

“I think it is all down to the boys and how we work each day, it is a result we fully deserve.
“Every week we keep building and winning games and that's what we managed to do today. We just keep going, play the way we play and the goals will come.
“[Scoring the equaliser] was unbelievable. It was Reiss that crossed it for me, so I'm very grateful.”
